Several years ago, a patient had an endovascular stent-graft placed to treat an infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). Recent follow-up imaging showed that the device had migrated into the AAA sac, allowing pressurization of the sac. This required an open surgical repair to explant the migrated stent-graft device and directly repair the AAA with a graft. How would this open surgical procedure (stent-graft explant and subsequent direct AAA repair) be coded?
