Question & Answer: Report continuous nerve blocks with 64999 when there isn’t a specific code
Question: How should we report a sympathetic nerve block when the provider placed a catheter and the patient will return to the office for a series of blocks with a bolus through the catheter. Can we report the appropriate nerve injection code with modifier 22 (Increased procedural services), or is there another specific code?
