Hint: you’ll need to know global surgical packages to bill for E/M as well. Bundling unrelated E/M services during a postop period isn’t as easy as simply applying modifier 24 (Unrelated evaluation and management service by the same physician or other qualified health care professional during a postoperative period) to the E/M.
