The Central Office on HCPCS has received questions regarding how to correctly report cardiovascular monitoring services which include: Holter monitoring, mobile cardiovascular telemetry, and event recording. Some facilities are uncertain which CPT codes are more appropriate to report for the services performed at their facilities. This article will define the specific services and guidelines to assist in code assignment.
