CardioMEMS™ HF System
The CardioMEMSTM HF System is a system that measures and monitors the pressure in the pulmonary artery (PA) and also the heart rate in heart failure patients. The system consists of: implantable PA sensor, delivery system, and Patient Electronics System. The PA sensor is permanently placed in the pulmonary artery via a right heart catheterization. It is about the size of a small paper clip and does not require any batteries or wires.
