A patient, with long-standing gastroesophageal reflux and marked regurgitation, was seen at our facility with request to be taken off the proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) due to complications from the PPIs. During evaluation of the patient, a hiatal hernia was also identified. Therefore, this patient underwent a laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair with LINX implantation.
