Deployment of Tack Endovascular System® for Vessel Dissection

A patient with peripheral arterial disease presented for percutaneous intervention. Angiography revealed heavily calcified stenoses of the distal superficial femoral arteries (SFA). Initial treatment of the left SFA consisted of atherectomy and drug coated balloon angioplasty. Following this intervention, two areas of focal dissection were identified which required deployment of six Tack Endovascular System® devices. After deployment of the implants, there was no residual dissection.
