Drainage of Craniopharyngioma
A patient with a recurrent craniopharyngioma presented for a right frontal ventriculoscopic thalamic cyst fenestration. After the frontal burr hole was drilled, the dura was opened, and an endoscope was introduced into the ventricle. The cyst was entered and a ventricular catheter was placed. A postoperative CT scan of the head showed the tip of the catheter to be positioned within the suprasellar region.
