Due to the significant volume of questions received through the CPT Network regarding the parenthetical instructions for the EP ablation studies, this coding update will address the appropriate reporting of these codes. Under the Intracardiac Electrophysiological Procedure/Studies subsection, several of the parenthetical notes instructing which codes may be reported in conjunction with other codes were inadvertently omitted.
