CLINICAL EXAMPLE 1 Percutaneous Cryoablation of Right Iliac Bone Metastasis CLINICAL HISTORY 76-year-old male with metastatic head and neck cancer and diffuse osseous metastasis, including large symptomatic metastatic lesion in the right iliac bone. PROCEDURE Percutaneous cryoablation of right iliac bone metastasis. MEDICATIONS 4 mg midazolam and 200 mcg fentanyl were administered intravenously. Sedation was monitored by a nurse. Moderate sedation time was 60 minutes. COMPLICATIONS None. TECHNIQUE 20983 The patient was placed in the prone position in the computed tomography (CT) scanner.
