AMA Comment If probing of a nasolacrimal duct, with insertion of a tube or stent, is performed, only code 68815 should be reported. Since nasolacrimal duct probing is included in the descriptor for 68815, it would not be appropriate to report code 68810 or 68811 in addition to code 68815.
