AMA Comment The subconjunctival injection would be included in the procedure described by code 67038, Vitrectomy, mechanical, pars plana approach; with epiretinal membrane stripping. Therefore, code 68200, Subconjunctival injection, should not be reported in addition to code 67038 for the subconjunctival injection performed during the vitrectomy procedure.
