From a CPT coding perspective,
biopsies of the skin and subcutaneous tissues
only are coded in the integumentary system
and biopsies involving the lid margin, tarsal
plate, or palpebral conjuctiva should be reported
with code 67810, Biopsy of eyelid. Therefore, it
