How should this be reported? AMA Comment When multiple colposcopies are performed during the same session, each should be reported separately, to indicate that the colposcopies were performed at separate anatomic sites. Therefore, it would be appropriate to report both, code 56821, Colposcopy of the vulva; with biopsy (s), and 57421, Colposcopy of the entire vagina, with cervix if present; with biopsy(s)...
