Is it appropriate to report code 31000, Lavage by cannulation; maxillary sinus (antrum puncture or natural ostium), when performing a nasal irrigation (and nothing else) with a Neti pot? Would nasal irrigation with a Neti pot be considered a component of the E/M service?
