A patient had surgery for tenolysis of the finger flexor tendons. At the conclusion of the case, reconstituted connective tissue was injected along the flexor tendon sheaths. The injection was intended to augment damaged tissues with functional tissue, provide structural support at the surgical site, and aid in the body's constructive remodeling process. Should this procedure be reported with unlisted procedure code 20999, which is comparable to injection code 20550, or reported with unlisted procedure code 26989, which is comparable to tissue augmentation code 15777?
