Q&A: Coding a rotator interval closure with arthroscopic capsulorrhaphy

Question: I have surgeon who is performing a rotator interval closure at the time of an arthroscopic shoulder capsulorrhaphy, CPT 29806. Can you please clarify if the rotator interval closure would be included as part of the capsulorrhaphy, or is it separately billable?
