Disseminated Superficial Actinic Porokeratosis

Disseminated superficial actinic porokeratosis (DSAP) is an autosomal dominantly inherited skin condition causing multiple, brown, annular, keratotic lesions on the arms and legs. At the request of the American Academy of Dermatology, code 692.75 has been created effective October 1, 2000 to report this condition. DSAP is induced by ultraviolet light. The average age at which patients first notice DSAP is about 40, and its frequency in affected families increases with age.
