In Memoriam: Donna Ganzer
With great sadness, we share the news of the passing of our colleague and friend, Donna Ganzer. Ms. Ganzer joined the American Hospital Association (AHA) in 1988. She began chairing the ICD-9-CM Editorial Advisory Board meetings in 1990 where she moved us “smartly” along through the lengthy discussions of the coding issues. Her interest in coding kept her in the position until 2022; long after leaving the AHA.
