Effective October 1, 1992, code 69.11, Removal of intraligamentous (extraperitoneal) ectopic pregnancy, and code 74.3, Removal of intraperitoneal embryo, have been combined into one code. The code title for code 74.3, Removal of intraperitoneal embryo, has been revised to read, Removal of extratubal ectopic pregnancy, and now includes the removal of both types of ectopic fetuses.
