Baroreflex Activation Therapy Modulation System
For the CPT 2026 code set, Category III codes 0266T-0273T were deleted and converted to Category I codes 64654-64659 to report baroreflex activation therapy (BAT) procedures. These codes are located in the new subsection Autonomic Nervous System Modulation in the Nervous System section of the CPT® 2026 codebook. In addition, new Category I codes 93145 and 93146 were established in the Medicine section to report device evaluation of the BAT system.
