Code 0402T is reported for conditions, such as corneal ectasia (eg, keratoconus) to stop or slow down the degradation of corneal collagen. CXL typically involves irradiating the cornea with ultraviolet-A (UV-A) light while introducing a photosensitizer (riboflavin or vitamin B2).
