Changes occurred in the mammography family with respect to the conversion from analog to digital imaging and the prevalence of computer-aided detection (CAD). CAD is now typically performed with mammography. Thus, three new codes (77065, 77066, and 77067) have been added to combine mammography and CAD into single codes, reflecting the current standard of care.
