In a previous article, we discussed actinic keratosis, the most common type of precancer, or premalignant lesion. Today we are taking a step back to look at skin lesions in general and how they are diagnosed. Skin lesions are quite common and the effects of sun exposure in our younger years can play a big role in developing skin cancer as we get older. Everyone is at risk.
