2014 salary survey: Put your special expertise to use
Almost 90% of anesthesia coders have a coding certification, but certification and a higher average salary are not connected, according to the survey. Certified respondents averaged $54,728 last year; their uncertified counterparts about $63,427. However, certified respondents are more likely to receive raises.
