New CPT codes for COVID-19 vaccines

The American Medical Association (AMA) has approved new CPT Category I codes for reporting Sars-CoV-2 vaccines. In pediatric patients, the new Moderna vaccine product along with the corresponding administration codes for patients aged 6 months through 5 years have been approved along with codes for the new Pfizer booster vaccine product and administration codes for pediatric patients aged 5 through 11 years.
