Effective October 3, 2023, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorized an amended version of its Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the monovalent Novavax COVID-19 vaccine, adjuvanted. The EUA was revised to include the 2023-2024 version of the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine to address the Omicron variant XBB.1. This vaccine is approved for patients 12 years of age and older and is reported with existing CPT product code 91304.
