Effective October 1, 1998, the following inclusion note has been added to code 659.5, Elderly primigravida for clarification: "First pregnancy in a woman who will be 35 years of age or older at expected date of delivery." The title of code 659.6 has been modified from "other advanced maternal age" to "Elderly multigravida." A similar inclusion note has also been added at code 659.6 to clarify that this applies to a pregnant multigravida woman 35 years of age or older at expected delivery date.
