 Medicare Fee Schedule Update-April 16, 2010April 16, 2010 The freeze on the 21.5% Medicare fee cut expired Thursday, April 1. CMS then placed a 10 business day hold on all claims which expired Thursday, April 14.
Yesterday the Senate took action and passed the amended extension bill and passed it back to the House. The House passed it and sent it on to the President. He signed it last night. We now have an extension until the end of May on the freeze of the 21.5% cut in the Medicare Physician's Fee Schedule. During that time, congress will be working on a more permanent solution. share
