New add-ons: Plain English Descriptions!

We're happy to announce two new add-ons available within Find-A-Code, ICD-9 and CPT Plain English Descriptions. English Descriptions are an excellent way to ensure that you are coding the correct diagnosis and/or procedures. They are an essential aid to new and experienced coders alike. Our Plain English Descriptions are crafted to provide you with the specific information you need to know in order to quickly zero in on the correct code.

Here's a quick explaination of each product:

• ICD-9 Diagnosis Codes - Plain English Descriptions of diagnosis codes - compare wording on encounter, presentation, and diagnosis notes and medical records with these descriptions to determine the appropriate code quickly.  Plain English Descriptions for over 11,700 codes.

• CPT Procedure Codes - Plain English Descriptions of procedures – compare wording on operative notes and medical records with these descriptions to determine the appropriate code quickly.  Plain English Descriptions for over 8500 codes.
