AMA, AHIMA at odds on ICD-10

The closer we get to the implementation of ICD-10, the more debate and controversy we will hear.  The AMA has issued a statement endorsing a repeal of ICD-10 and the AHIMA is on the ICD-10 implementation band wagon.  This is an interesting article with comments from both AMA and AHIMA.  Be prepared for an interesting next 18 months as everyone begins preparations for the ICD-10 transition.  See the link below.
