![]() Another Search UpdateJanuary 13, 2011 Not satisfied with great, Find-A-Code had to make the search even better. We have just finished another update to search that adds a functionality to find partial matches of code numbers. To perform a code number search for partial matches simply enter "!321*" into a search box to view all the codes that start with "321" (321, 321.0, 321.1, etc.): ![]() You may have noticed that Find-A-Code has made use of the exclamation point "!" to indicate that the seach results should be confined to codes. For example, "!321.1" goes directly to that code. "!990201-99299" results in the range of codes between the two numbers. And now "!321*" will match all codes that begin with "321". This is different from the "*321" search announced last week which will reutrn results where the number "321" appears anywhere in the code number, description and other code related information. This type of search will also show non-code resutls as well as results based on code numbers. Use the new "!321*" format with the exclamation point to limit your search results to just codes. Just another way that Find-A-Code is constantly improving our searching tools to make your life easier and your coding faster! share
