Body Mass Index and Calculator Tool

Body mass index (BMI) is used as a screening tool to a measure of a persons weight in kilograms by the square of height in meters.  With an individual’s body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher Obesity is diagnosed.

People who are obese are at increased risk for many diseases and health conditions.
