How should this be reported? AMA Comment There is no specific CPT code that accurately describes pleurolytic therapy. Therefore, the unlisted code 32999, Unlisted procedure, lungs and pleura, should be reported. It is not necessary to apply modifiers to unlisted codes, since the codes do not describe specific services. When reporting an unlisted code to describe a procedure or service, it will be necessary to submit supporting documentation...
