Should the C-section delivery code be reported more than once? Answer: If multiple babies are delivered by C-section delivery, the appropriate C-section code (59510-59515) would be reported only once because only one delivery was performed. If the C-section is significantly more difficult, then modifier 22, Increased Procedural Services, may be appended to code 59510, Routine obstetric care including antepartum care, cesarean delivery, and postpartum care.
