Is it appropriate to report code 64713, Neuroplasty, major peripheral nerve, arm or leg, open; brachial plexus? This seems to overvalue the work done, especially when done arthroscopically, as the procedure adds 15 minutes to the case, and does not entail the significant dissection required when the procedure is performed open. Or should code 29999, Unlisted procedure, arthroscopy, be used since this procedure is not in the CPT book? Answer: Code...
