AMA Comment From a CPT coding perspective, the procedure described by code 68720, Dacryocystorhinostomy (fistulization of lacrimal sac to nasal cavity), can be performed without touching the turbinate bones. Therefore, code 30930, Fracture nasal turbinate(s), therapeutic, may be reported separately and in addition to code 68720 when both procedures are performed...
