Several changes were made to allow for better utilization of this section of codes in the 2015 Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) code set, of which the most significant are noted below: The Molecular Pathology Gene Table was revised to include claim designators for Tier 2 molecular pathology codes. A new subsection, Genomic Sequencing Procedures and Other Molecular Multianalyte Assays, was added in the Pathology and Laboratory section.
