Code 53500, Urethrolysis, transvaginal, secondary, open, including cystourethroscopy (eg, postsurgical obstruction, scarring), describes a procedure performed to treat obstructive voiding symptoms related to excessive periurethral scarring secondary to postoperative urethral suspension procedures (eg, bladder neck suspension).
