September 2015 pages 7-8 Vestibular Function Testings Instructional and exclusionary parenthetical notes were added to the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) 2015 code set following code 92270 to ensure the correct reporting of code 92270, which was often miscoded instead of or in addition to the vestibular function testing codes. In some cases, code 92270 was reported for eye movement recordings, which is not the intended use of this code.
