Answer: This is a cerebellopontine angle (CPA) tumor, and should be reported with code 61526, Craniectomy, bone flap craniotomy, transtemporal (mastoid) for excision of cerebellopontine angle tumor. Code 61526 was established specifically for translabyrinthine vestibular schwannoma removal.
