July 2010 pages 7-8 Cardiac Diagnostic Imaging Five new codes were added to the Cardiac Diagnostic Imaging subsection of the Radiology section in the CPT 2010 codebook to describe cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for velocity flow mapping and computed tomography (CT) of the heart. This article describes these codes and their intended applications.
