Question
What is the code for a male mammogram?
AMA Comment
The descriptors in the mammography codes 76090-76092 do not specify male or female, therefore the codes can be reported for both female or male patients. The main difference in designating the intended use of the codes can be found in the descriptors (screening vs diagnostic).
