November 2000 page 5 Coding Communication Transmyocardial Laser Revascularization (33140) Transmyocardial laser revascularization (laser TMR) is a new type of myocardial revascularization procedure that is becoming recognized by the cardiothoracic surgical community as a useful alternative or adjunct to coronary artery bypass grafting.
